When Fast Bundle fits better
- You want a bundle to be a product of its own. Fast Bundle's pricing page lists "Bundle as product (Combo products)" on every plan, Free included. SMART only creates discount offers on the products you already have.
- You want the app to pick pairings. Fast Bundle offers frequently bought together on selected products, and AI-powered suggestions across all products from Standard. SMART has no recommendations.
- Shoppers should build a kit on a builder. The listing describes mix & match bundles, fixed bundles and custom kits made with its Bundle Builder. SMART's Mix and match lives inside the product page widget, with no separate builder page.
- You run a high-volume store. Fast Bundle's Enterprise plans add automatic bundle detection in the cart, Shopify POS integration and a post-purchase order split for bundles.
When SMART Bundles fits
- You want no sales ceiling and no request for a free plan. Fast Bundle's Free plan covers up to $500 a month for eligible stores; past that, Standard starts at $19/mo. SMART is free at any volume (plan and pricing).
- You sell in more than one language or through a subscription app and don't want a paid tier for it. Fast Bundle puts multilingual translation and subscription-app integration on Standard. In SMART, both come with the free plan (translate the widget, subscriptions in a bundle).
- You want checkout rules beside the widget. SMART includes Order goal, Shipping discount and Advanced discount types, and Settings > Restrictions can hide payment or delivery options once a discount is on the cart (cart discounts).
- You want a countdown timer, a savings summary and a low stock alert in the bundle widget. Neither Fast Bundle's listing nor its pricing page names them; in SMART they come with every bundle (upsells and extras).
Combo product or discount on the page
A combo product is a new listing in your catalog that a shopper buys as one item. SMART works the other way round. The shopper stays on the product they're viewing, picks an offer card, for example two units at 10% off or this product plus a matching one, and the theme's own Add to cart button adds the real products. The discount then applies at cart and checkout. If you want both, a combo product for a gift set and quantity breaks on single products, that's two jobs, and Fast Bundle covers both; SMART covers the second (complete the bundle).

No. SMART Bundles creates discount offers only. It doesn't create a bundle SKU, a packaged product or a bundle that tracks component stock. The products in an offer stay separate Shopify products with their own inventory.
