When Easy Bundles fits better
- Shoppers should build a box step by step on its own page. Easy Bundles offers a single or multistep builder with landing-page templates, search and filters. SMART has no builder page.
- Bundle stock has to stay in sync with your warehouse. The listing describes bundle inventory synced across Shopify and your 3PLs. SMART doesn't create bundle products or sync bundle stock.
- Shoppers should personalize what they buy. Growth adds custom personalization fields. SMART has no personalization fields of its own.
- You want developer control or outside testing. The listing offers developer SDKs and names Intelligems A/B Testing among the apps it works with.
When SMART Bundles fits
- Your store is on Shopify Plus or Advanced and you want to start free. Easy Bundles' listing excludes those plans from its Free and Essential plans. SMART is free on any Shopify plan.
- You want add-ons, gifts and subscriptions without a paid tier. Easy Bundles lists them from Growth at $49/mo. SMART includes upsell add-ons, progressive gifts and subscriptions in a bundle on its one free plan.
- You want to suggest an upgrade or a different product on the page being viewed. SMART's Alternative product offer shows that product as its own card, discounted only when the shopper adds it from that card (alternative product offer). Easy Bundles' listing doesn't name this kind of offer.
- You also want discounts that live only in the cart and at checkout, such as an order goal or a shipping discount, automatic or with a code (cart discounts).
How the plans scale
Easy Bundles bills by bundle revenue. Its pricing page says that if bundle revenue passes your plan's limit, you move to the next plan in the following billing cycle, and you can also start on a higher plan. The listing shows four plans up to $10,000 a month; the pricing page continues in bands to $599/mo and custom pricing above $500,000. SMART Bundles has no bands, because nothing is charged (plan and pricing).
