When Rapi fits better
- You want to A/B test offers, even before you pay. Rapi's listing puts A/B testing on the Forever free plan. SMART has no A/B tests.
- You want an upsell after payment or a cart drawer from the same app. Rapi's listing includes a post-purchase upsell on every plan, and its site offers a customizable slide-out cart. SMART has no widget in the cart, the drawer or after purchase.
- Shoppers should fill a box themselves. Build your own box (BYOB) is on every Rapi plan. SMART has no build-a-box page; the nearest is a Mix and match offer where shoppers pick products inside the widget.
- You connect your own tools. Rapi's Elite plan lists API and MCP access.
When SMART Bundles fits
- Your bundles earn more than $100 a month and you'd rather not pay by revenue. Rapi's Forever free plan covers up to $100 a month of revenue generated; SMART has no limit (plan and pricing).
- Checkout should change with the discount. Settings > Restrictions hides chosen payment methods or delivery options, by name or delivery method type, as soon as a discount is on the cart, and a Shipping discount can target rates by name or type (cart discounts).
- You price by country. Each SMART bundle can run in all markets, only in chosen ones, or in all but some, and amount-off or fixed-price offers can take your own price per currency instead of a converted one (markets and currencies).
- Your team uses Shopify admin in a language Rapi's listing doesn't include, such as Italian, Dutch, Polish or Japanese. SMART's admin comes in 25 languages and matches the language set in your Shopify admin.
Which Rapi price applies
On the date checked, Rapi's App Store listing gave Pro a $10,000 monthly limit and Elite no limit, while tryrapi.com gave Pro $5,000, Elite $10,000, and added a $99 Enterprise plan. Trial length also differed: 7 days on the listing, 14 on the site. Check the plan screen inside Rapi before you subscribe. SMART Bundles has a single free plan, so there's nothing to reconcile.
